A luxury brand for contemporary living
Contained specialises in converting and customising shipping containers into sustainable luxury spaces ranging from hotels to offices, bars and restaurants to boutiques – all with the ability to be located absolutely anywhere.
The brief
Owners Toly and Irene wanted to position Contained as a more high-end, boutique offer, which required a departure from their original urban-style branding.
They specifically wanted the new brand to reflect three things: Sustainability, Luxury and Possibility.




The solution
The wining concept offered a clean, lux aesthetic that (through the deliberate use of negative space) highlights the word ‘IN’.
This in turn, leant itself to the use of a tagline Inventive design / Infinite Potential.
The extended slant of the ‘A’ became a feature of the broader visual language and a device used to showcase the product’s flexibility.
