A logo for Justice
The Criminal Bar Association of Victoria advocate on behalf of their members, to the government, to the Victorian Bar, and to the Courts. Their members are criminal barristers who both prosecute and defend, and who make up almost one quarter of all barristers practicing in Victoria.
The brief
The Association wanted a professional logo to be used primarily on the website, across member correspondence and for annual events and news.
The new logo needed to convey a sense of prestige, credibility and a commitment to justice.
The solution
The new logo features Lady Justice with her blindfold and scales. The mark has been kept simple, clean and professional in order to ensure that it presents well at a variety of scales. This is particularly important for a logo which will primarily be viewed in digital applications.
