A milestone brand makeover
Neighbourhood Justice Centre (NJC) uses support services, case-by-case treatment and community initiatives to tackle the causes of crime and build capacity to repair social harm.
The brief
NJC identified its brand was beginning to feel a bit aged and planned a brand refresh to coincide with their 10 year anniversary.
The team at RYB were engaged to help reinvigorate the NJC brand, ensuring it would be an evolution (rather than a revolution) that reflected its values, vision and future aspirations.




The solution
We reused the original colour palette with minor alternations and supplementary colours and retained the highlight of the word ‘our’ to ensure positive sentiments of the original brand were carried across.
For the logo we used strong, traditional typography to provide a sense of credibility and trust required by such an organisation, while the visual language worked to show individuality and a sense of being in-touch with issues that can often be difficult and awkward to address.
